He's a very friendly dragon. He's great at recruiting dragons to the Everbloom Empire because of that. He's extremely faithful in the Gladekeeper and will always pledge his loyalty to her. He's also loyal to his friends and family. He's very emotional and won't be afraid to admit his feelings. He can be quite cowardly and will back down quite easily, unless you pinch a nerve. He's also a big procrastinator and will delay making decisions as much as he can if he doesn't have any interest in it.

Epidemic woke up, gasping for air. He looked around, unsure of where he was. There was trees surrounding him, he realized it was a jungle. He felt something very soft and wet beneath him, and he looked down, realizing he sat on a large, pink flower, it's petals damp from rain.

He stood up, stretching out his small wings. He realized he had rain on him as well. He had no idea why he was here and had no memory of anything. Stepping off the flower, he braced himself to fly. Leaping up, he flew away and searched for some food. He was quite hungry.

As his wings dried off from the wind that was thrown into his face and beneath his wings, he spotted a large pale blue dragon pacing back and forth in the tall grass in another clearing in the trees. He slowly glided down, landing neatly in a tall tree. He hopped down to a lower branch and tried to make himself as little as possible.

"Agh! I can't believe they just left me behind like that! The Search?! I'm not nearly old enough for it!!!" The blue dragon spread her dark red colored wings out wide and cupped her face. Epidemic tilted his head, accidentally moving a branch as his crest expanded to show his curiosity. The blue dragon whipped around, her green eyes burning.

He noticed she had rigid, armored fins along her cheeks and chest, they were flared and outstretched. She hissed, her eyes scanning the bushes beneath him. He was more careful about his crest, making sure to keep himself absolutely still.

The finned dragon edged closer, sniffing the air. "Show yourself! I can smell you!" He sat even more still than before, holding his breath hoping to not be spotted by the very big dragon. He realized he was only about the size of her head.

She gently pulled the bushes apart, careful not to harm whatever might've been in there. There was nothing. She looked up at the tree and Epidemic was praying in his head to not be seen. She dug her blunt claws into the tree, attempting to lift herself up. She must really have no fear, or she's very curious.

As he made that observation, she leapt into the branches, almost knocking them both to the ground as she landed clumsily on the branch. It couldn't hold her weight. She edged closer, but the branch cracked. She grabbed the Fae and spread her wings, lifting into the air.

He trembled in her grasp, closing his crest and trying to curl up in a ball to look as small as possible. He craned his neck backwards. "Oh. I thought you were a bird or squirrel. Welp, you're no meal. What're you doing spying on me?"

Silence. He couldn't speak. He was overwhelmed by the large size of the dragon gripping him. "Hey, I won't hurt you. Not something so small..." Her eyes lit up and she landed on the grass, squealing with delight.

The Fae nervously scrambled and flailed his limbs, trying to escape her grasp before he would get hurt. "You! You're my charge!" She grinned from horn to horn, her sharp teeth seemingly glowing. "Oh. Right. You don't even have the slightest idea what is going on or what I'm talking about..."

He shook his head nervously, debating on if he should bite her to let go. "I'm Poseidon. I'm a Guardian! When we are a certain age, we leave our families to go find something to protect. It's called The Search. And I think I found what I'll protect! Unfortunately, I was forced to start The Search early. But hey! Only a few days in and I already found my charge!!! Oh yeah, a charge is what you are in charge of protecting."

He gulped. He realized he hadn't said a word. "Well, could you put me down?"

"You CAN speak!" she squeaked. "Why were you following me? What's your name? Do you live here? Oh! Why are you so small?" wip!
