About
Maris and her sister, Tyyne, are the shrine keepers for the Land of Colored Sand. They oversee the shrine that was built and dedicated to the Tidelord so that his followers may come and pay tribute to him. The shrine is also where dragons come to be exalted and Maris helps to ease the transition from regular, everyday life, to one of service for their deity.

As Clan Aguadaega's territory grew, and many dragons from many flights came to live here, the shrine was expanded to include small areas for each of the other ten flights, so that all dragons may come to honor the deities.

Maris provides most of the shrine's upkeep; cleaning and replenishing supplies required for rituals.



Etymology: The name "Maris" means "of the sea", taken from Latin.
