Zephyr is the epitome of a wind dragon. He is carefree and energetic, cheerful and absent-minded. And, of course, he is obsessed with butterflies. He cares about his butterfly companions and will protect them as best he can. He may be just a fae, but his strength when his lepidopteran friends are in danger is something you can still hear his old clan in the Windswept Plateau talk about. Many dragons wonder how Zephyr can understand his friends, and some have hypothesised that the fae must have extremely strong hearing or some form of unique magic. Or that he is simply not all there.

One day a beautiful butterfly caught his eye, and when it started to fly away Zephyr followed the brilliantly patterned insect. He flew after it for a few hours before realising that he had left the Windsinger's domain; he was now at the edge of an ethereal forest with trees that had pastel blue leaves. Zephyr heard something within the glowing woods, something that sounded like arguing. Curious, he followed the faint sounds. After escaping the clutches of some dangerous flora and fauna, Zephyr found himself in a dark place, almost like it was night. Despite the fact that it was mid-afternoon. The clan of Kage no Sekai was beautiful to Zephyr, so much so that he forgot what led him there. It was a couple of days before anyone approached Zephyr, and when they did they treated him like he was the Representative of the Wind flight. He was confused but played along, and by the time Nargacuga realised that she had an unofficial representative it was too late; Zephyr had become a part of the clan.

His butterflies are -by colour;

• Butter: an anti-social butterfly, she usually stays out of the group.
• Blue: the oldest of the butterflies, he tends to take control of the others in stressful situations.
• Red: a cheery little creature, he nearly always smiles, and loves to laugh.
• Orange: an investigative butterfly, he stays higher than the others so that he can see everything.
• Green: a free spirit with a healthy sense of wanderlust, Zephyr often has to keep her from flying somewhere she shouldn’t.
