Biography

A mysterious imperial hailing from an ancient family that worships the great light. Alioth's primal eyes have allowed him to see into the future and the past to come all at once, overwhelming his senses until he became a stoic and silent imperial. He has found peace and quiet within the conservatory, hoping to find a solution to the future of doom he has witnessed.

Originally named Linshu.

He was renamed to Alioth, in connection to the Yellow Emperor, a historical Chinese figure whose status blurs between history and myth. The Yellow Emperor has been referred to as "The Yellow God of the Northern Dipper". And with "斗", the second character in the Chinese name for the North Dipper, it means "war", "battle", or a "whirl".

The Yellow Emperor has also been associated as a deity of light or the father of light. He was also at some point, considered a god of thunder.

So hence, Alioth; the brightest star in the Northern Dipper, the brightest and eldest child of light.
