Biography
The purple-scaled spiral that had originally rescued Mink, Galactic spent most of his time wandering about Sornieth, following the winds of his own curiosity. When he encountered an adult Mink on the Zephyr Plateau, he didn't recognize her, but Mink did - or at least her nose did, as the out-of-place Tundra immediately greeted him with "you smell like a friend." Galactic was baffled, but also incredibly curious. He decided to settle down for a time with Mink's new clan, though his idea of "settling" was more like constantly flitting in and out of the clan's territory, bringing back prey, trinkets, and news every time.
On one fateful summer day he spotted a Pearlcatcher with beautiful pink wings wandering about the Plateau. Fascinated and utterly smitten, Galactic subtly nicked a flower to bring to her and not-so-subtly shared the information about the clan living nearby. To his great delight, Salima decided to stay, and Galactic soon made himself busy wooing her in his own flamboyant, distracted way. Eventually his plan worked! ... and then suddenly there were hatchlings.
Galactic was NOT ready to become a father, and now he has no idea how to care for these three tiny dragons. He doesn't want to completely abandon them, so he often comes back from hunting trips with small trinkets, plays with them, and tells them ridiculous stories. Unfortunately, this only seems to make Salima more angry at him, as she claims he is dumping all the difficult parts of parenting on her. Her rage isn't unwarranted - Galactic does deftly avoid anything that might seem like work - but he feels like he's at least making some effort, and so he fights back. Of course, their constant back and forth is only hurting the hatchlings they claim to care about. Galactic tries to make it up to them with smiles and gifts, but he notices them growing more distant, and despite himself, he mourns.
