Biography
Keeping her because she naturally inherited the Butterfly Gene from her father... that and she has IMMENSE potential with her colors.
Yeah she's named after the rare Lange's Metalmark butterfly; more specifically, its scientific name, Apodemia mormo langei. Why? Because there are tons of butterflies all over the planet that only have a few hundred or less left of their kind, and we should preserve them or at least help them survive. Maybe try planting some flowers that will attract them and then making a greenhouse specifically there to keep the flowers they like, as well as them. I'm no treehugger, though I just don't want these awesome dudes to go extinct. And yeah, I'm not one to just talk the talk, I do plant flowers and help support native pollinators. Why do I just say native pollinators? I say that because the pollinators that were brought to various countries are invasive species that take away food from the native species and attack them, quite effectively reducing their numbers, often times to the point of extinction. So yeah, I sorta prefer supporting the natural/native species.
