Fia was looking for a nice place to hide away. FableHaven offered her a home and she accepted. She has no idea what she's gotten herself into. As soon as she was introduced the murmurs began.

From the center of the mob came a shrill shout. "For pete's sake, that is NOT MY mother!" It was a tiny veilspun, she stood in the center of the crowd, fuming. Why was the little thing so mad?

Notice, who stood next to Fia, gave a huff, apologized and sauntered off to meet the group mumbling something about Naomis being certifiably insane. After a while she had them calm and they quieted down.

Noticed returned to Fia's side with the still scowling little Veilspun. The rest of the group watched with suspicious eyes.

Fia greeted the little Veil. "Hello, I am Fia. What is your name?

"Hello, Fia, my name is Wisp." Wisp smiled slightly. " My mother's name is Fia."

"Oh," Fia replied. "So everyone was excited at the thought that your mother had come for a visit?" She asked.

Wisp's eyes became as large and round as the fullest moon. Her little head shook rapidly. "Never wish it. Never think it." Wist replied. " Many of us here are generation fours and fives with a spattering of higher generations and a few loopy loopers to boot. The last thing we want here is our parents. We came here looking for a place of peace. We know who and what we are. They haven't been able to find us here. Not yet anyway. We like it that way."

Fia looked to Notice and asked. "Was that a threat?" Notice shook her head no. "I will explain later, dear." She answered.

Much later, Fia, understood everything. Her name, her colors and her element had frightened the group of Naomi descendants. Seems the third generation had a power struggle going on most of the time. Sibling rivelries of epic proportions. Poor things. She decided right then and there that this was meant to be. She would protect them. She had the magic, she had it in spades.
