Known for his wisecracks and dark jokes, Rind manages to maintain a sense of humor and liveliness despite his belief that the world is a bleak place in which not much matters. His bright dress and manner cover up a much more cynical perspective on life, but he doesn't make a habit of bringing others down, and he can get along with just about anyone who isn't too tightly-wound.
Rind is at heart a performer -- mostly in music and storytelling. Alongside Rimfaxe, he spends his time softening the harsh echoes of his clan's cave system with eerie celtic harp tunes, and he is also quite the composer, working on ever more lovely and complex arrangements for the delight of those who will listen. He can keep hatchlings entertained for hours with his acting and performing. He is also known to partake in meditations with Xanadu.
