Biography
| Luc is an avid Luminax fan, who collects and sells Luminax merchandise. She stores her stock in her many pockets and goes from town to town, outpost to outpost, harking her wares, with the assistance of her Gem Guardian (who holds onto the earnings). She can appear intimidating at first with her jovial attitude, but she becomes much less imposing as you get to know her. |

Luc is and has been a single mother of several young hatchlings, whom she carries around with her on her wings as she travels. She spoils them with gifts (usually Luminax toys and other merch) and only occasionally uses them to guilt others into buying from her. Aside from that, though, she's a doting and attentive mother, and passes on her eccentricity to her children (like Warlock, one of her many adopted children!) Her obsession with Luminax started in early childhood and has persisted into middle age. Even though she's a Shadow dragon, she's always been pulled toward the light, and as a hatchling she would often venture out to the Ruins to explore on her own. One night, as she visited, she saw it - an immensely tall, imposing monster, with tattered wings, two tails, and three heads. Its teeth were sharp and gleamed in the moonlight, its six eyes staring up at the night sky and glittering beneath the stars. She had never seen anything like it, but she knew what it was, from stories of death and destruction. She expected it to see her, eat her, do anything at all... but it just watched the sky. She watched with it for a bit, too small to be seen, lurking in its behemoth shadow, before she skittered off back to her home territory. She never saw it again, but its image has been stuck in her mind for decades. Luc has a hard time getting along with other dragons. It's not because she's hostile, or doesn't try, or doesn't care; she just can't. No matter what she tries, it's almost impossible to make connections with others. That's why she travels as much as she does; she's just not able to fit in anywhere. She frequently finds that social interaction can feel draining, and the constant onslaught of subtle cues and unspoken communication is so, so confusing. But she's found a few dragons to hold close to her heart, who relate to and love her, and don't mind what others may perceive as flaws. |
| Luc is insecure about her face, and usually hides it with her Luminax mask. It's soft and warm, and makes her feel secure; as a hatchling, she was often forced to part with it, which caused her immense anxiety and discomfort. She rarely takes it off in front of others, save for close friends and family, and has a specific washing and drying routine that she won't let anyone else do. She values that her friends don't judge her for finding such comfort in it and respecting her boundaries surrounding it. |

| Murgen is one of Luc's good friends. They understand each other on a deep level due to their shared experiences as social outcasts. They have different brains, but they both listen to each other go on about a passionate interest and don't judge each other for "weird" behaviours. Murgen is one of the only dragons that Luc feels she can really, truly connect with in this way. She truly treasures their friendship. |
