THE HATCHERY

Life within the Hatchery of Imaginary Dragons is never boring; quite chaotic, even!
The day this little one was born was no exception.

Ensio's parents had been excitedly watching over him and his siblings as they hatched; but the first thing he truly noticed in his mother's eyes was a mixture of worry and disappointment. That look was something he was never quite able to shake, no matter how much he was told not to worry about it, and their parents would not tell them the reason for it until later in their life.

They had been born as part of an effort to repopulate Mars, but had not inherited enough of Marsha's DNA to be considered more than Half a Marsian.

Despite this, their father would continuously insist that they were perfect to them; no matter what they were, but Ensio found it hard to believe him.

After not getting adopted after a week within the hatchery and seeing his siblings eventually get exalted, Ensio decided to open up a space called 'Ensio's Grace' within Ginbet's hibernal den; where dragons on exaltation row could be given more time before being sent off to the Plague Mother.
