After Malachi's descent to Sornieth, word spread around about the realm of dragons and piqued the interest of a certain Eorzean hero. M'ei was always interested in exploring worlds beyond his own and the idea of seeing a world of larger-than-life dragons was something he couldn't pass up.

Upon his arrival, M'ei realized his journey was going to be a bit overwhelming if he didn't figure out a dragon form for himself pretty soon. Thanks to Malachi's help, he opted for transforming into a Gaoler, defaulting to whichever breed he felt most resembled his Miqo'te form. While Malachi might object to that opinion (being as biased as he is towards the Aethers), he can't exactly argue that a Gaoler isn't fitting.

Despite his immensely thick coat and hefty size, you can often find M'ei swimming in whatever bodies of water he comes across. Thanks to his constant aquatic outings, he's the one who has recruited the most of the Undertides and other water flight dragons. It also helps that he's a very relaxed and optimistic individual, thus making him easy to befriend and get along with.
