Sam's a free spirit with an independent streak. She's diehard loyal and loves company but does her best working alone. She can be somewhat cryptic, in a way the exact opposite of her chatty father, but she inherited his insight. She's as adept at reading others as Cayenne, and is a usual confident of other dragons, adult or hatchlings.

She serves as a solo scout: exploring new areas ahead of scavenging and digging teams and keeping watch for incoming beastclans. She has acquired her mother's mercy for them, however, and would rather warn them to stay away than actually attack them; she has a general distaste for violence.
