Caste: Crystal-Hide Crystal-Hides are the newest caste, identifiable from their shimmering scales and strong curiosity… not to mention their intense sense of vanity. Their tertiaries are shiny bunches of scales resembling gemstones and the inside of geodes that allows them to blend against rocky outcroppings and in the mouths of caves, enticing curious prey towards them. These Sand-Snakes adapted to be fast and nimble with powerful venom, able to bite their foes in the blink of an eye before retreating to a safe distance- it’s said that even the split second gleam of their fangs matches the shine of their tertiaries. |

Eyes: Spiral
Dragons with these eyes are seen as an oddity since the cause and purpose of them are unknown. These dragons have warped vision and move in weird ways due to it, tilting their heads to try and get a better view of the world around them. When hunting prey or otherwise trying to lure something towards them they will start to dance or twist themselves in hypnotic ways to try and confuse their target to get within striking distance. These Sandsnakes... do tend to be quite clumsy and typically trail after a clanmate so they don’t accidentally bump into anything. |
