Zeph

Zeph was always an outcast in his clan, having been expected to be a strong warrior like his parents were. He had the build for it - taller than the average Skydancer, lots of muscle, but Zeph was not interested in the life of defending territory nor did he have the strongest relationship with his family.

He was always more tactical and wanted to be one of the clan mages, even though he didn't feel like clan life was for him at all.

Everything changed when a Spiral, Val, and Pearlcatcher, Umber, stumbled into Wind territory looking for a place to seek refuge from a Shadow cult. Zeph allowed them into his clan temporarily, although they were treated as outcasts just like he was. Zeph insisted on talking with them and helping them live, hoping that they could integrate, but it was soon clear to Zeph that the three of them were loners.

Maybe, they could be alone together?

When it came time for Val and Umber to move on, Zeph decided he would go with them. He broke away from his clan and started to travel with the companions he made while they stayed at his former home.
