Use Selective Feeding. Save your harder to get food. Go to down arrow by your user name, account settings,feed style, selective and then set. Now when you go to feed, individually select what's fed. Hitting the top bar mimics current default setting. Ugh!

Trading post. Click Muster resources. Then the dig site. Next click rugged resource. It will use one. One = 5 pick axes. 15 minutes.

A spy glass is one tile only in a dig of your choosing. I'm saving mine for when my squares are almost done.

Research notes. Are to be shared.

Anyways you only get to muster resources once a day. The accumulate so you don't have to use them right away. If you start playing your friends can send you research notes. If you get 9 research notes you must clear your tiles before more friends can send you more. Upper right under your experience bar. Ditto for getting to click another rugged resource etc
