______ Kaisos never intended on following a vengeful god. She considered herself peaceful, a friend to earth and those who roamed it. She was a devout follower of those whom she believed good deities and ignored those whom she considered wicked. Day by day, Kaisos would dutifully present her offerings to her deities and neglect those whom she shunned.

She continued with her routine for several years, making it to the temple every day. She spent more time in the temple than with her friends and family. As a result, they would often ask her why she didn’t just become a servant in the temple.

“I won’t serve the wicked.”

That was her answer, every time. Eventually, her family and friends would distance themselves from her, frightened that the gods would hear her, and if not them, then to save their names amongst the dragonkind.

Kaisos didn’t mind. She continued to serve her gods reverently.
