Despite a hunger for the complete opposite of plants August as a borderline obsession with farming. Which a lot of dragons find very strange for a dragon so… Firey. August swears up and down about how good regular burning and soot is for soil and honestly at this point no one is stopping him because his various veggie patches are doing spectacularly. Due to his farms steadily increasing size it resides on a different island to the rest of the lair, well. Islands actually. They are small but numerous, if you watch them during the early hours of the morning you can catch August zooming between them tending to all his work. Typical for a mirror, he spends most of his time running flat out between his fields like a hyperactive dog. Paying close attention to his morning routine you would realise he is simply vaulting himself between islands with no flight involved.

You’d think finding such an eccentric looking dragon would be easy to do but you would be very wrong, anyone who pops by for a visit or to help with harvesting tends to get the fright of their life when he suddenly hurls himself out of a field of corn. He tends to leave his hat laying around a lot too, you might see it popping out of the greenery and start speaking to it only for August to appear behind you. An easy way to tell he’s nearby is the distinct smell of ash, the dark patches all over his body are actually a mix of soot and dirt. Why is his face covered? Well… A mirrors hunger can get pretty overbearing sometimes and ya’know how much crows like to steal seeds… You get the picture. It’s for the reason of easy snacking that August insists he doesn’t need a scare crow.
