Biography
Aliens were totally real.
Obviously.
The Arcanist knew this, else Martin didn't think he'd bother having a massive telescope pointed at the sky at all times. Or bother climbing the Pillar to make contact, he supposed.
And Martin had even seen aliens before! A flash in the night sky he had seen as a child! Brilliantly colored and shaped and oh so perfectly hung in the sky. Just waiting for him to see it.
If only people believed him when he mentioned the damn thing.
Martin is an arcane dragon who flew a little too close to the sun in pursuit of knowledge.
It felt all his dreams had been answered when he found a felled UFO. Sitting alone and open for him to prove to the world that he wasn't crazy. He just... hadn't really expected there to be an alien parasite in it.
He magically sealed the parasite to his body, managing to get ahold of the situation before it took over his mind and did 11 knows what with his body. One plus to it was that hopefully people would see the parasite and know aliens were real!
No.
It was a magic accident, they argued. Something totally normal by Sornieth standards. And also he was annoying for trying to pass off an amatuer magic mistake as some sort of alien nonsense.
Sick and tired of the Arcane flight- and most dragons in general- Martin found his way to the Oasis. He made his home in a library, now serving the dragons of the Oasis by way of books.
At least the nuns don't bother him. Small victories, he supposed.
