Fester's food is delicious, his manners... not so much.

He's known to have a strange obsession with death and the dead. Hatchlings and outsiders tend to be hesitant to eat food prepared by him, especially if it contains meat.

Though really, so long as they steer clear of the Soylent Green, they'll be fine.


  origins.

Born an orphan hatchling in a completely average clan, Fester tended to disturb those around him even from a young age. His obsession with the deceased began early, and it was not uncommon to find him poking around some corpse or another.

As a result, his adoptive parents were thrilled when he took up a hobby as normal as cooking... up until he refused to miss an opportunity to joke about what exactly he'd been cooking.

Eventually he set out on his own, as many young dragons do, and his wandering eventually led him to Groundhaven, where he almost suspiciously quickly gained his job as official cook. Fester embraced the role, and made himself indispensable with his knowledge of corpses and his willingness to keep dark secrets.

Fester's interest in corpses began at an early age. He studied plaguecorpses in childhood and studied autopsy records in adolescence. He learned meat preparation and preservation as a desirable skill that utilized his interests and knowledge.

Fester left his previous clan to "find himself." He agreed to join Groundhaven as it would grant him access to healthy dragon corpses for experimentation.

Fester tends to make hatchlings and strangers uncomfortable. He needs to learn to read his audience and quit making cannibalism jokes around hatchlings.
