A quiet and morose dragon, Cinder prefers to work and avoid everyone around them. With a tendancy to forget about their needs, the skydancer looks unkempt and rough, leading to their siblings and immediate family to worry about them more often than not. Cinder started working to avoid thinking about his absent and uninterested mother, who later went on to serve the Earthshaker with no warning, and her well meaning but busy and somewhat forgetful father, Sidewinder.
Prone to perfectionism in regards to their maps, Cinder's most frequent company is a critical mimic that dons the shape of a quill, and only acts to enable the skydancer's perfectionism.

If Cinder has any real ambitions, it's unknown to the clan, and perhaps even herself. Happy enough with their job, and happy enough to be left alone, Cinder tries not to think too hard on anything and instead just throws themself into their work with intense focus.

Born to the last nest that the clan had while in the Tangled Wood, Cinder, alongside the rest of her clutch, ended up staying in the clan. And while her father, Sidewinder, cared for the four hatchlings, it took no time for Yafim, their mother, to lose interest in raising the four. Sidewinder had a busy job, however, and ended up trusting his siblings and parents to do most of the work in raising the clutch. Cream and Wine drifted towards the Shady Tavern, and eventually gained their own jobs at the tavern, and Knight quickly gained an interest in learning how to fight. Cinder, meanwhile, didn't immediately find a calling, and wandered around a lot more than the rest of her siblings, mostly feeling lost.
In her wanderings, Cinder ended up learning how to navigate the world, and ended up proving that he had a knack for drawing maps and planning routes for wandering trips. The skill became essential, especially as the clan moved and had to learn a new area, and Darlin quickly took the skydancer under his wing as a cartographer. The job, at the very least, gave Cinder something to do, and enabled her to avoid most social interactions. Became something that they could just sink into and do. The job meant that they ended up mostly dealing with the scouts, though their siblings kept ended up dragging Cinder around from time to time to ensure that they didn't only work. Cinder, for his part, tolerated it, but mostly was happy to let the more sociable dragons do the talking for them.
