Dova (31) ??? The monster was never supposed to travel this far south. It was a creature frozen in ice for a good half of a millennium; it was simply too warm, right? It was a beautiful afternoon, with the trees swaying in the breeze and children playing in the surf. Down the lane, you could hear merchants peddling their wares. Nothing could go wrong. Of course, as beautiful days tend to go, the atmosphere changed in a snap as clouds began to roll in. This was no ordinary storm: it brought with it a terrible beast gone mad with hate. This creature was at least 40 feet tall, maybe even 50, with glowing eyes and spines that could carve a man in two. It let out a blood-thirsty scream and charged toward the beach, shattering boulders that stood in its way. An unlucky child was left behind in the rush to safety and was grabbed by the sea serpent. With a grunt and a snap, the young boy was pulled under and slowly pulled out to sea. Before the creature could make much headway, a shout was heard from a pirate ship: The Little Jewel. Without a moment of hesitation, a young man with long green locks guided the old ship towards the monster in the bay; a shout for more firepower was heard. The creature came to a standstill, eyeing the competition. With the two now face to face, the green hair lad seemed to steady his resolve and let out his own war cry. The creature accepted this proposal for battle and met the lad in the air mid-jump, the child flung from his hands and onto the ship. The battle was ferocious, with claws, swords, shouts, and blood. The green-haired man was able to gravely wound the beast, slicing through its chest. The moment the beast sunk beneath the waves, a bright glow was seen emitting from the young man. In a flash, he was gone. Sunset's Reunion Dova is another oddball, but for a completely different reason. After rescuing a young boy from a sea serpent, he was granted minor deityship from the god of the seas. Since then, he's developed a soft glow. His torso is a terrarium and is filled with plants beyond your imagination. Godhood hasn't messed with his head, or at least he hopes so. Of course, he doesn't mind a gift every now and again. Dova considers Sunset above him, for her line led to one less death. He's kept his outfit simple for the party: a linen skirt and a cape depicting the creation of the First Mortal.  |
