Lovingly watched over by their parents, Leda and Chi, the jewellery makers. Both are experts in their craft (though Leda's have a tendency to melt), and insist on passing this on; every hatchling of theirs picks up a love of intricate details and careful skill.

Leda and Chi are hoping for the best for their child—they know it might take many lairs and many names to settle down, but they know that someday, the dragon they raised will find a place to call home.
