Chihiro is born to Isiah one month after his previous hatchling fled the nest. She's raised strictly, her father striking a deal with Phydra to share the education of both their nests. Phydra's lessons in combat are beyond difficult for Chihiro, and leave her feeling exhausted. Her father's lessons in history and politics are a welcome reprieve, involving more memorization than anything physical. As she sponges up more knowledge, Isiah praises her quick wits, and slowly, she is allowed to attend less of Phydra's drills. When her education is deemed complete, Isiah sends her out into the world, hoping she will form a powerful alliance for her father's clan.

After setting out, Chihiro finds herself on an island far from the mainland. She notices that some of the members of the allied clans came from the same lair as her, especially Clan Avalon. Seeking to make an alliance for her father, she joins the Light-Forged.

Eventually, Chihiro speaks to Caedus and Alexander, telling them what was going on in her birth-clan. Hearing what she has to say, Caedus agrees to send the Light-Forged to assist her father’s clan should a war break out. With his help, she is able to sway each of the allied clans to help her father’s cause.
