BEREGOND: THE SORCERER
Owner of Amun's Soul / Consort to Agasaya


Evil sorcerer, trickster, potion-maker, hoodoo practitioner, and all-around shady character who owns a large share of Amun's soul and cavorts around with Agasaya causing mischief. He and Aggs have a lofty goal to slowly infect Realgar with disease in order to wipe out the current leaders and take the clan for themselves, which they have so far been entirely unsuccessful in achieving. Agasaya doesn't really take it seriously, preferring to play pranks and cause an innocent ruckus instead. But Beregond is playing the long game. He is cunning and charming, and he knows how to manipulate the wants and fears of the members of the clan to bring them into his fold. Amun was his first great success. He knows that if he can gain power over other Council members, he may be able to take control of the clan. His reanimated corpse servant, Revan, will be instrumental in the final overthrow of the clan.

The only obstacle on his way to total conquest may lie with the young Seer, Anubis. Though Anubis's ability to sense good and evil is erratic and untrained, it is powerful. Beregond's magic allows him to "cloak" himself from psychic interference, for the most part. But Anubis has a power unlike anything Beregond has seen in an age. Should Anubis ever turn his gaze in Beregond's direction, the old Tundra may not be able to shield his intentions from him completely. He keeps a very close eye on Anubis and keeps his distance around him.
