"The only thing on his mind is war." -Battlewinner, coming back to her home to her children after accidentally killing Stormriser.

Battlewinner was always a rebel, running away from home when she was a hatchling, and finding a baby scorchpaw prowler, who she named Scorch. She had a desire to make a home for all pearlcatchers to be safe. Little did she know, this would have some grave consequences. In the humble beginnings of her sanctuary, Battlewinner fell in love, with a snapper named Toxic. The two grew close, and ended up deciding to get married. Later that year, Battlewinner laid a clutch of three eggs, one snapper, Ice, and two pearlcatchers, Tropical and Frost. Another year later, she laid another egg, a pearlcatcher named Muffin. Later that same year, she met Reality, a mirror, and his mate, Stormriser, a guardian. She an Stormriser became close friends, until one year, something horrible happened. The two got into an argument, which soon turned violent, which ended in the accidental death of Stormriser. This sent Reality into a blind rage, gathering all his friends to make an army. Battlewinner was faced with a horrible realization. She had to turn her sanctuary into an army. Therefore, the pearl army was born. Unfortunately, Reality somehow convinced her husband and her child, Ice, that she was a heartless monster and would kill them too. This broke Battlewinner. She went from a sweet, calm, loving pearlcatcher to a cunning, broken-hearted, and easily angered one ( don't worry, she's still nice to her children :3 ). After killing Moonlight, one of Realitys children sent to assassinate her, she no longer had any remorse left. Killing became normal to her. She started wearing birdskull jewelry, a sharp claw ring, and a plague charm. Then one day, Realitys second child, Darkness, came to assassinate her too, and she killed her instead. What she wasn't expecting was that Reality burst out of a bush nearby and started chasing her down. She ran back to her army, and told them to abandon cave. Reality found them. About to attack Battlewinner, Mintie an Flare came to protect their leader. Realizing he was outnumbered, Reality tried to exit the cave, but since he's larger than the average mirror, he got stuck. Battlewinner, showing mercy, helped him out, before apologizing about Stormriser. The pearl army then flew away to a new location. As the army moved into the new cave, Battlewinner went to gather plants, and was unfortunately assassinated by Cherry, Realitys last child. In the afterlife, she finally said sorry to Stormriser, and they became friends again. Even the worst stories can have a happy ending.
