WOLFSMELK
— THE HEDGEWITCH —

One of the Clan's lower priestesses, Wolfsmelk practices a curious blend of Shadowborn paganism and antiqued herbalism. Entrusted with performing prayer rituals and induction rites, she moonlights as an agriculturist, tending to a wide array of herbs, spices, and flowers within her shrine to aid in her natural medicines. Well-liked for her gentle touch and elvish disposition, she is friend to many within the Clan.

Unknown to almost all but the Clanmother, she has lost most of her children to the Shadowbinder, many before their first breath. As the years have worn on, a seething bitterness has begun to grow slowly, quietly, alongside the sorrow within Wolfsmelk's heart. It eats away at her faith—so long and so earnestly has she prayed, and for what but suffering?

This sentiment is shared by her personal calamity and occasional lover Katzenminze, whose attempts to beguile her into allowing him to help ease her suffering have left her disconcerted; mostly, she is afraid that one day, she'll let him.
