A gift, a curse, a mote of power
and probability granted by the stars and random chance. A hatchling was born on the day of a stellar syzygy, a cosmic alignment of stars and planets and a night of great power. His clan named him Starlight, after the force that had created him, and he was filled with a great power. Little did they know he would soon outlast them, and their children, and the generations to come.
Starlight has lived since the
Second Age, and will presumably last until his namesake wipes life from the planet. He is immortal, he cannot age, and he has spent his incredibly long life researching the stars, their motion, and the strange powers they gave him. He journeys Sornieth, chronicling his findings and making friends and companions along the way. He knows, however, that they are destined to age and pass, and as such he does not allow himself to become attached to anyone. Currently he aligns himself with this clan, but there have been clans before it, and there will be clans after. He has found a temporary travel companion in the form of a fellow spiral dragon and researcher, Ace, a dragon from the Arcanist's realm. Starlight hopes that his research will eventually allow him to dispel his condition and age like other dragons so that he might finally rest.
