Asteria
Nyx and Asteria had lived all their childhood within the ancient hives of the Tangled Woods. While other Veilspun partook in trickery, Nyx never felt a calling to pranks and the such. She much prefered to learn about colors and clothing. Some Veilspun called her unusual, especially since Veilspuns didn't wear anything, but she only ever felt the need for her twin's approval. Both had their own interests, but supported each other when their clan didn't.
Once it was decided by the species to reveal themselves to the modern world, Nyx and Asteria bolted. They had high hopes that someone out there would have similar interests to them. Surely someone out there would be interested in familiars or clothes? Thankfully, they found that the world did have similar interests to them! Excited and somewhat overwhelmed by their new opportunities, Nyx and Asteria bounced from Shadow clan to clan, learning all their could about their modernities of their Flight's culture, and how their interests related to them. Overtime, Nyx became an expert on Shadow fashion.
Eventually the twins celebrated their first Trickmurk Circus and were completely in awe! It was everything they could ever dream of: a celebration of their Flight and it's culture, amazing apparel and spectacular familiars! It was the best thing ever! But it also made them curious of other Flights and their worlds. The two decided to visit other regions, joining a festival caravan that traveled to each region for their respective holiday. Through this, they learned more and more about the world, completely fascinated. After a year and experiencing each Holiday, it was during their second Flameforger's Festival that they arrived at Basalt Heights. They met the Banescale twins Bast and Angi, the primary dragons running the city's festival. The Fire dragons wanted to begin their own Holiday organization in the Basalt Heights. Nyx and Asteria talked it out, and decided to stay, joining the new founded organization and managing the city's Trickmurk Circus from now own.
Asteria now uses her Shadow fashion knowledge to create items for the residents of the Basalt Heights. She is very happy with her new job, and while it is hot as heck in the Ashfall Mountains, she finds she's feeling at home in the Heights.
