Quarth gave little Quartlinth a reassuring pat. He was the first of his children to leave home.
"Remember, son, no matter which way the Wind blows, Daddy will always love you! Your Mom and I are proud of you already, and wish you all good things at your new home! Which isn't that far away, after all!"
The hatchling stood up straighter, and nodded solemnly at his father. "I know! I won't forget my manners! And I have my lucky stone, so I'll be fine!" He rubbed the glossy moonstone again, trying to hide his nervousness. "I'm ready!"
His brothers, while slightly envious, nevertheless cheered and waved, as Quarth escorted his middle child away to the Crossroads to meet the first of his new clan. They were sure their chance to spread the Wind Herd would come too!

I would 1000% steal the HECK out of that snapper!!! Male snappers don't look good with pretty looks imho, they need to look intimidating, tough, cool--and Quarth is the embodiment of that!
