The depths of the lair, wherever it may be, are cold. Colder than should be normal, as one's breath quickly starts to steam in front of them as they descend. Ice begins to glaze the walls, and extra care must be taken to dig claws into the ground in order to keep one's footing. It's a daily trek for whatever unlucky soul drew the lot to fetch this meal's food from what has been colloquially named "the freezer."

A hulking mass of fangs and fur, sitting like a queen amidst pillars of jagged ice. Serac embodies her namesake as she sits and watches, a quiet and unpredictable threat. She has yet to attack anyone, but her silent presence is unnerving at best.

She serves a very important role in the clan: preserving food. In the desert the clan resides in now, or the steppes they used to, or even the marshes before that, she always provided a safe place to store food without it spoiling. She even helps in times of intense heat, hauling up huge blocks of ice for the clan to lounge on to cool down.

Still, her silence and unblinking gaze disquiet most of the rest of the clan. So she sits upon her throne of her namesakes while the unlucky courier never takes their eye off her, wary for when any one of the jagged outcroppings within the chamber might collapse upon them in a barrage of sharp ice or teeth.
