ABOUT.
If there's a skirmish or a brawl in the Massacre, you can almost always guarantee that Iota is in the middle of it. As one of Nalkh's enforcers, he is brutal and swift, and as a part-demon (on his mother's side, he likes to say) and a crafty schemer, he's sly, cunning, and always willing to cause a little chaos just to see what will happen.

Those who meet him will either find him insufferable or charming; those who understand him a little better, like Aurum (his lover) and Ezekiel (his trainee), will know that while he seems to be a good-for-nothing open book, with his dark humour, bright laugh and seeming carelessness, he's surprisingly loyal and trustworthy. What enemies he makes, like Priscus, who is second-or-third-in-command of the Massacre and once told him that reading his fortune was a waste of her time, often do not realise just how capable he is. His general disregard for authority alone already removes him from the good graces of others. It's a fortunate thing that the leader of the Massacre, Nalkh, finds his impertinence amusing and his prowess on the battlefield useful.

This isn't to say that he's evil, oh no. It's just that Iota has a tendency to cause trouble wherever he goes, and the Marrow Massacre just so happens to be the most exciting thing happening in the Wasteland and Dragonhome, so where else is a dragon like him supposed to go? He has a place in this raiding party, small as it may be, and he doesn't seem to want to let go of it anytime soon.

One day, maybe, if the winds change and the lure of adventure calls to him again. Till then, he'll keep bothering others, fighting anyone who challenges him, and being a general nuisance to any who have the displeasure of meeting him.
