B I O G R A P H Y

______ Karimi had spent years perfecting her combat skills. Life wasn't exactly hard, being the daughter of a king and queen. She would be protected and adored in every corner of her parents' lair, earning respectful bows from its inhabitants. Her life was comfortable—perfect, even—yet...she longed for more.

______ That was why she decided to set off by herself, in the middle of the night. She had originally planned to join the guards on patrol duty, as she was itching to show the king and queen that she was truly ready to become a warrior. Plan busted. She was told off by the queen's own guard, who noticed her skulking around after curfew. In a fit of rage, Karimi took off into the night sky, not looking back until her wings were sore from exhaustion. Her surroundings were unfamiliar, with nothing but water wherever she turned. Panic surged over the princess as she realized she was lost. She was losing height, her body barely able to keep itself airborne, slowly, slowly giving up.

That was when she noticed the glow, illuminating the dark sea down below...
