Biography

THE DEN OF CLAN BONESTAR
bonestar.png

Clan Bonestar lives within a fossil. The great beast whose bones still remain is hypothesized to have been some kind of titanic proto-dragon, an extinct precursor to the shared ancestor of tundra and gaoler dragons. Its organs, skin, and hair have all rotted away, but by sheer luck and powerful magical residue that settled into its bones like ambient radiation, the imprint of its body still remains. Its bones act as beams and pillars, supporting the weight of the earth surrounding the inner spaces. Of course, the builders of Bonestar have since worked to reinforce these with actual foundation and further supports, but the end result is an incredible set of interconnected caverns that the clan now calls home.

The above diagram shows the sections that the clan's den is split into. Each section has a sort of 'chimney', as well a system of complicated as air vents, to prevent the dragons suffocating.

MOUTH- The 'speaking place' of the clan, this is a gathering place where citizens may air grievances for the consideration of the leadership council. It is also a space used for council meetings and other such gatherings.
CRANIUM-The living space of the clan leaders and their family.
NECK-Place of private businesses. A blacksmith, sparring chamber, and ritual rooms are here, as well as several other magic-based spaces.
SPINE-11 of the recovered vertebra have been cleared out and reinforced for use as dens. These are where each of the Flight Representatives live.
CHEST-A huge, multi-leveled open air market, surrounded by a high-arcing ribcage both above and below. Here, all manner of things are sold. Near the top of the chamber is the platform leading both down into the space, and up into the world above. There are several of these caves, but most are hidden, with this one being the only one that stays open most of the time.
TORSO-Living space for the clan's residents. This space is also multileveled, having houses and nests of all kind built in any nook and cranny that can be found.
TAIL-Lilith, the resident Multimage Technomancer of the clan, makes this space her haven. Magic of all clades and contortions hangs thick in the air, and a facial mask required to traverse the area without coming away with damage to the lungs. Lilith's creations lurk in this place, all circulating loosely around the central locus of the magic residue: Lilith's workshop. This area is littered with odd, disturbing objects, instruments of unknown purpose, scrap metal, and failed experiments. Lilith only ever emerges from the tail to buy ingredients of spare parts, and her path is always uninterrupted thanks to several boogeyman legends that have been made around her.
TAIL TIP-In sharp contrast to the murky chaos of the tail, this space is dark, but soothingly so. It smells like fresh linen and old books, as this is the clan's Hibernal Den. A rule of absolute silence reigns here, and the ambient sleep spells help to keep any dragons that feel restless fast asleep.
LOWER ARM-Deep storage. This place is where many forbidden artifacts are kept as well as valuable treasure. There are also times when a dragon must be put to eternal rest, and the graveyard branches off from this chamber.
UPPER ARM-TBD
