Biography

Raz
He/They
Shy, Depressed, Sporadic
Mate of Moonflower and Sunnyflower

Born to parents of a clan that existed on the back of a larger dragon, Raz was not born with the stained markings prized among his parents. It's all they wanted, but if they were not stained, they could not be apart of their clan, and thus, the he was disowned and sent away to find a new home elsewhere.

Raz wandered alone for days, searching for a new place to stay until he was found by Shasta and Blossom. Both were out gathering flowers to use to decorate their den when they found him curled up in a bush. They brought him into the Novalight Sanctuary and decided to take him in as an adoptive son of the sorts.

Though he was grateful for the new home, he still couldn’t shake off the feeling that his parents didn’t want him, which caused him to grow reclusive and shy, and he soon developed Depression and OCD. All he wanted was to be perfect, and his depression and him thinking that everyone hates him made him want to be more perfect, even though he knew that that’s impossible and that no one is ever perfect.

Soon after, because of all of that, his eyes started to change from their normal shape and into a hypnotic spiral shape. All his wanting to be perfect and his broken mental state had caused him to go mad, and his eyes showed it. He was constantly twitching with anxiousness and would jump whenever another dragon would try to talk to him. Most of the time you can see him mostly spending time alone, far away from other dragons, reading the most unusual books.

A lot of dragons and his fellow hatchlings had given up on trying to befriend him, but that certainly didn’t stop Moon and Sunny (moonflower and sunnyflower). They two would always be hanging around him, trying to be his friend. At first, Raz was bothered by this because he thought that they were playing some sort of trick on him, but later on he started to be a bit open with them, until they eventually became friends. With the two girls’ help, he eventually got better and started to worry less, but his eye never changed back.
