Darieth ... or was he trying to say 'Darius'?

Raised from the dead by a necromancer, Darieth appeared to have received irreparable brain damage. Aggressive, uncontrollable and downright dangerous, he was abandoned as a project and left to be culled with the other mindless zombies. A necromancer guard, Edroa, took pity on Darieth and attempted to rehabilitate him in secret, at great personal risk.

To his delight, after many months of hard work Darieth was capable of learning, although he had a cunning, selfish nature. He had no memories of his past, and seemed perplexed by the invisible rules of society, such as wearing 'pants'. He was unable to empathize or attribute his feelings to certain emotions, instead driven entirely by his own whims or petty vengeance ...

... and by a peculiar loyalty to his friend and keeper, Ed.

Over time he has learned to abide by most societal norms when in company. His attachment to Ed only strengthened, and he feels irritated and lost without him. While remaining arrogant and with an overly inflated sense of self importance (not helped by Edroa's blind adoration), he remains curious about the world. Now that he can apply himself to tasks, his demonic powers only continue to grow ...
