Biography

Travel Log

entry 1
I have heard talk of a series of clans throughout the lands opening their doors to travelers. I admit my curiosity is piqued. I brought the subject up to clan patriarch and he seemed uninterested. until, that is, I implied that I may be interested in finding out for myself at which point he forbade I leave his sight for a month. I spoke to clan matriarch about it and she simply chuckled and blamed his possessiveness on "Guardian pride." she urged me to follow my heart and allow the wind to guide me. I love patriarch with all my heart. he raised me from an egg but he is not my father and never will be. we both understand this. my only father is the wind itself that spun me from dust and dew and nothing will change that. I will leave in the night as silent as a ghost so as not to awaken anyone. I love and will miss my clan mates very much but how am I to be a child of the wind if I am forever tied to the earth? the short answer is I cant. the long one however Im hoping will come to me on my journeys. I will sing our songs to the children of other clans and hopefully will learn new ones for our own.

Entry #2
I have arrived at the Wolf Tears' Clan. Their alpha female, Nigthwing, welcomed me graciously and offered a place to rest for a spell. This is a small ragtag clan of a varied and changing lot. They are very disorganized and it is utter chaos during any mealtime, but I can see how hard poor Nightwing is trying to keep order. Luckily, three of her eldest children follow her command and actively do their clanly duties. It is their leader, Nocturne, that I worry about... He is lazy, rude and down right incorrigible! He has even tried to tempt me to his nest, but I will not surrender to such frivolous flirtations. On the bright side, there are some lovely youngsters here that are eager to hear my songs and stories. I have even been put to work gathering and training in the coliseum. While fighting might not be my thing, it is nice to feel stronger and more capable of defending myself on my travels. I will be going on my way soon, but I will not likely forget this crazy, dysfunctional clan. Some of the youngsters were even so kind as to give me this lovely pink bandana as a token of my time here. Such sweeties, I will miss them.

Entry #3
As I crossed the mountains of the Crystalspine Reaches I came across the lair of the clan of the RisingSparrow. Cirrus and Spelltide offered me lodging for a time during my journey, and I chose to bed down next to Warflare, one of the older Guardians of the lair. He admitted that he was originally from the flight of the Plaguebringer, but he had always felt out of place among the other, more savage dragons. His favorite thing to do was stargaze with his fellow Guardian, MidnightBlades. I spent many a night with them, learning the movements of the stars and the names of the constellations. Midnight even taught me a little about how to map the stars and how to read them for fortunetelling. I also had a happy surprise in meeting Midnight's mate, HiddenBlaze, for she was a Tundra who hailed from the Windswept Plateau as well. Blaze sang to me many songs of the Arcane lair that she now called her home, in between taking care of her newly hatched little ones.
When it came time to continue my journey, Warflare presented me with this purple bandana from his own personal hoard with a whispered message to send for him if I ever felt like I needed guarding. We both laughed it off but I heard the sincerity in his words. He has been a great friend to me and I will miss him dearly.
Entry #4
I arrived at great Dragonhome and found my self invited into a Lair that resided on the Shattered Plains. I arrived just in time to be greeted by several fresh clutches of hatchlings, and I had quite the audience for my songs! All of the hatchlings loved my songs and afterwards they would all clamor around one of the guardians for a reason I didn't understand. One day, I followed them all, my curiosity getting the better of me. It turns out, the guardian's name was Hallie, and she was in charge of maintaining the Lair's hoard. The hatchlings had spent the last few nights trying to find a gift for me! They told me that on the last day, they would have something special planned out.
It is now the last night of my stay with the clan, and I am delighted with what the hatchlings have thought up! After my songs and stories, the hatchlings lead me slowly over to the Hoard ad told me to close my eyes. After I had opened them I was presented with an sparrow to accompany me on my travels! The hatchlings said that they had taught the sparrow some songs of its own! We'll see how that goes as I continue on my journey.

Entry #5

When I passed through the dark forage of the Driftwood Drag, I saw a lot of weird things. I didn't have a good feeling about the place, it feels like there's someone staring at you from behind the dark trees all the time. Luckily, there are glowing mushrooms which provide a little bit of light. After a while, when I was just getting scared, I saw a shadow in front of me. It was still far away, but I got a little scared anyway. When coming closer, I noticed it was another dragon. It was a she and she was looking for something. I came closer to her and asked what she was doing. The poor dragon was completely surprised and made a little jump. I apologized, but as soon as she got a better look at me, there came a smile on her face. "You must be a wandering dragon", she said. I explained to her I was and she got overexcited. "Well, then you're in the right place now! My name is Grace and I live here with my love: Ciaran. There are a lot of kind dragons here. Quickly come with me!" She grabbed at one of my wings with her claws and pulled me with her to a cozy lair and she was talking all the way. A little tired of the weird walk, I looked around at a bunch of dragons. They were staring at me as well. All with that same smile. I noticed there were no Tundras there at all. I felt a little alone. But that changed as soon as Grace introduced me. Everyone wanted to talk to me and teach me some stuff. I didn't even get a chance to rest in the five days I was there. But I didn't mind, it were five super days, I didn't want to do anything else! But, after five days, I had to leave again. The other dragons turned sad and I felt bad about that. But because it was Halloween a few days ago, I decided to stay and help them with cleaning a little bit more (because in Shadow, Halloween is a big, big, big event!) They were so happy. But then, the sixth day came. Early in the morning, I was poked. It was Grace. "You'd better leave now, before the rest is awake. They're really attached to you, you know. If you don't go now, it will never work for you..." I understood and went with her to the border of the Lair. Grace turned herself towards me and said: "You know what I was looking for on that very first day? I was looking for a friend. I had a bit of a fight with Adora. I had to go outside and just talk to the little creatures. But then you came. And you were the best friend I've ever had." She came closer, with tears in her eyes and hugged me. "Here, my sister, because that' how our bond feels. A little, girly present, because I only have male friends here. And Adora, we made up by now." I hugged her back, thanked her for the lovely, pink (my favourite!) arm wraps and left. Doing my very best not to cry.

When Skysong arrived at the Ice lair, she found the entire place in a flurry. Not only were there six hatchlings underfoot, but a strange male tundra had been found outside, nearly starved to death. Feeling helpful and not wanting to burden her hosts further, Skysong volunteered to help nurse the stranger back to health. Between the other tundra, Gordon, and the hatchlings, she had an eager audience for all of her songs and stories.

She spent so much time nursing Gordon, in fact, that her stay in the Ice lair was...delayed. After all, couldn't really leave her poor hosts with eggs that weren't theirs to tend, could she?

Gordon was much better by the time she finally _had_ to leave, but still not enough to follow her. Instead he agreed to stay behind and bide his time with their hatchling, perhaps to rejoin her at the end of her journey, if she cared to summon him then.

Skysong was reluctant to leave her new found friend, and the ice lair but she knew she had to continue. She landed in what was supposed to be the next lair. Her fur ruffled in the heat and she blinked uncomfortably.

This was no place for a tundra. She looked around noticing other tundras like herself must have felt the same way. There was only one in the entire lair who planned to stay. His name was grey, and he blended with the ash and soot wonderfully.

Still, Skysong knew it wasn't worth the time to make friends in this lair. They all seemed to be fairly nice, and she was happy to have seen the fire, but this place wasn't for her.

As an apology for being unable to stand the heat, Grey gifted Skysong his entire pile of treasure to help her one her journey.

Skysong looked around she could get used to this while she saw moonbreeze another tundra who looked quite pleased "hello traveler" rugaard said "hello" skysong said in reply unsure of what was happening rugaard looked distracted while another guardian was looking toward where she had come from "i cannot wait until she comes back" the female guardian said to the male guardian

Skysong allowed a few of the females of the clan to get her wing bangles a female ridgeback said that it looked good on her after awhile she decided that she should head home she gathered her things and headed to where her home was happy to have been out adventuring

I now realize this clan is in need of gems but i hesitate i cant give up the treasure now but its so tempting this clan really needs the gems to save up to get some gem things from the marketplace i wish that i could help them but im not so sure if i should I finally decide to leave the treasure with this clan they need it more then i do as a thanks they give me the 4 gems they have i thank them and head on my way home
