The research on how Elementals are made is seldom documented, as the process is quick as lightning, and painful as hell.
If you were to go around all of Sorenith and ask, you'd find next to nothing.

But Thunder knows.
Thunder knows the painful process, the blinding light of lightning striking him down from the sky, and the painful process of crackling energy worming its way between his scales.
He could tell you how he still feels the static in his veins and the rolling thunder in his heart eons after, and how he's outlived the ones he called friends.
Perhaps saddest of all is that he can no longer recall their faces, much less his own name.
He simply goes by Thunder, the sound made by the world as it bellowed out its apology to him.
