Past
There are those who are fortunate enough to belong in the world. To be accepted for who they are.
Be loved, cared for. Everything flowing smoothly.
Then there is me. I am not a popular dragon. I was born with a "defect"they say. Found out when I got older that I was the defect. Just because I am a snapper.
"Snaps can't fly" "Wings are to small" "Land turtle"
My last memories I have of my family are short. I can remember my mother telling me I was going to a new home meant for my kind. Like I was a disease. My father on the other hand gave me a locket and said goodbye. Not as rude.
It all went down hill from there.
Almost sacrificed to the gods twice. Bought and sold, tossed around like a rag doll. No one wanted me, I was weak.
I became mean and hateful. One day I would get my revenge. That's what motivated me. Hurting those who did me wrong.
Eventually I was taken in by Maz who taught me how to defend myself and when I was old enough, secretly she taught me magic. Showed me her favorite spells. Learned different types of herbs. She truly is the kindest and smartest dragon I have ever met.
I needed more. I wanted revenge. The way to achieve that was to get her dark spell books that were hidden away. But little does she know I am one step ahead of her. My locket was the key.

Fast forward to the Present
WIP quick idea so I don't forget while I brainstorm.
Isobel is ruthless. Nothing can escape her wraith. Her locket holds the souls of many who have done both her and Maz wrong.
Maz doesn't want to believe that Iso's heart is blackened by hatred.
Isobel adores Maz and will not hurt her.
