The second hatchling of the second clutch of Teorah and Riven. Karthus is notably more careful than his older brother Cleitus and prefers to spend his time studying with other scholars and engineers. Intellectual like both his father and mother, Karthus is hailed for his astounding ability to design the grid system and provide maximum power to the Turrets and Spire. The denizens of the realm are impressed with is ingenuity and competence. The Shifting Expanse reveres it's engineers and hold celebration to that dedicate their existence to the complicated gridding system that is the life and blood of the realm.

Karthus is shining scion of his father Teorah, who is a master of "Riding the Storm". He is a quick study, excelling in history, math, mechanics. Destined to be one of the greats and have his paw engraved on the base of the shining Spire itself. This is the highest honor a dragon from this region could receive other than becoming a guard of the Thundercrack gem.


"One could almost hear the echo's of eternity", a slight pause, "From the broken marbled pillars of the Sunlight Beams of the East, the rising hot Volcanic pillars to the West, and the storming clouds of the Shifting Expanse, this realm is made up of the mighty, the proud, the innovative! We are the proud Engineers of the Spire!" Karthus proclaims at his Recognition speech in front of the Counsel at the Goldensparc Turrets. "Eternity is our legacy!"
