Travel Log:

aquilastar: Valeth wandered around the Shifting Expanse, searching for a lair to call her temporary home. Near the source, she caught sight of an electric-coloured Spiral hunting for food. Noticing her, Athena came over and asked Valeth curiously as to why the Tundra was on her territory. Valeth explained her situation and her desire to travel around the eleven Flights, and Athena declared that her clan would take the Tundra in so she could conduct some research on Lightning culture!

Soon after arrival, Valeth met a Coral Carpenter named Blue, and the two quickly became close friends. She waited several moons in this clan, bonding with Blue to help the little bee awaken their full potential. When her familiar was finally awakened, Valeth set off to leave -- but Blue came running after the Tundra and threw themself at her, begging her not to go. Valeth was torn, but clever Athena realised a solution: Blue could come with her. With the decision made, Valeth and Blue departed from the clan together, safe and sound in each other's company.


Volrin: Valeth's next stop was in a Flight neighboring the Shifting Expanse -- the Lightweaver's domain, the Sunbeam Ruins! The Tundra and her bee familiar were both happily welcomed into a temple in the Hewn City, where they were both housed and fed while Valeth poked around the Light territory and learned of its history from the local acolytes. The dragons here were so unlike that of the Lightning Flight, their neighbors that she had just come from -- while the dragons of the Shifting Expanse were all about building and industrialization, profit-oriented in their endeavours, these acolytes were all studious and dedicated to uncovering the forgotten past of their world. They were archaeologists!

As for the dragons of the clan Valeth was staying with, they differed a little bit from your typical Light dragons. In particular, they were dedicated to protecting travellers and local residents alike from the dangers of the mysterious Hewn City. They held regular border patrols to scout for strange Shade beasts roaming the ruined city, and did what they could to reclaim ruins from the all-encompassing murk of the subdomain. These dragons, unlike the roaming archaeologists, weren't so much about studying as they were preserving.

It was a lot for Valeth to take in -- she was surprised that clan cultures and specializations could differ so much, even within those of the same Flight! The Tundra knew that she still had a lot to learn.

Valeth was satisfied with what she had learned during her visit here, however. She had just been getting ready to depart from the temple clan and start making her way to her next location, when her reliable olfactory memory suddenly picked up on a... strangely familiar scent. It was a scent different from, but still somehow so much alike, that of her own. A forgotten member of her family, perhaps? Valeth's excitement got the best of her and she started dashing towards the source of the smell before she could even tell what her paws were doing -- she went bounding so fast that she crashed snout-first into another dragon, who had been racing towards her just as quick!

Willheist and Valeth sent each other sprawling in opposite directions at the sudden impact. But just as fast as they knocked each other flying, the Tundra sisters were back up on their paws, snuffling at each other's thick furry coats and already jabbering to each other about their respective travels. They were overjoyed to be reunited! Valeth probably couldn't have remembered her sister's name before they introduced each other, honestly -- and she wasn't sure whether her poor memory as a Tundra, or the huge age gap between the sisters, was to blame. But that's just fine, that was what made this meet-up all the more exciting!

Valeth found out from Willheist that she had been just planning to set out from this clan as well, and go to her next destination. They wouldn't have much time to catch up, after all... or would they?

"How about we travel to our next stop together?" Valeth suggested, and Willheist happily took her up on that offer.


Rarecreature: Valeth flew down to a patch of grass and noticed that she is in the forest. She hears a waterfall nearby and she thinks it's beauitful. So, she went in deeper into the forest and she see a kingdom. She went towards the kingdom and she walks around the kingdom. She also wonder if she finds a place to stay in. She came cross to an Inn and it was pretty. Perhaps it's a perfect place to stay inn for a bit. When she went inside, she was greet by a female aether name Chinko and told her that she the owner of the Inn. Chinko give her a nice room for her stay and Valeth like it. Chinko is so nice because she brings her foods and she is kind too. Valeth wanted to stay a bit longer and she enjoy her time here. But, she want to explore more. So, she say her farewells to Chinko and she went off to the sky.
