Alethiara's first memories include large shapes chasing her through the bushes. The hatchling had been on her own, her egg having been washed away by a flood. When she broke egg, she managed to do it in the worst place possible... the center of an animal pack's hunting territory. She doesn't remember exactly how long she was running, she only remembers that there were a few times she managed to damage one of them with her still-soft claws.

Right from the start, the pretty pearlcatcher was feisty, passionate, and determined. Afraid of very little, she set out to find a place for herself. She was lucky enough to find Chaotic Daydreams only a short while after she eluded her hunters. Alethiara's first friend was a skydancer who found the little one tired and hiding at the edge of the lair's territory. Kymberlynne took her home and served her a hot cup of tea and some little cakes.

From that time forward, Alethiara was enamored of the older dragon. She helps Kymberlynne run the tea shop. The two of them have bonded over being orphans of the world who found a family and a reason to work every day. Their tea parties - so many flavors of food and drink can be found! - are looked forward to by everyone else in the lair.
