Biography
Zero is one of the Nature Flight's best, with his runes glowing brightly with the forest's magic, even seeming to glow within his skin, with his near-pitch black skin growing green with age. And he embraces this, and is loyal to the Nature Flight with great ferocity, so how is he here, serving under Scourge?
Skag knows that the Plague and Nature fights are immense rivals, but he doesn't have much care about this conflict, given his more nomadic lifestyle, instead of being a soldier of a greater clan who wars with the Nature Flight. However, he noticed Zero's capabilities when stealing plantlife from the Gladekeeper's domain. He may not despise Nature dragons, but he knows they hate him. The next day, Skag finds Zero again, however, intentionally baits Zero by stealing food right in front of him. Scourge managed to make Zero follow him close to his lair before being caught by the swift Spiral, but then the Scourge clan was upon the dragon. Zero was strong, but he couldn't face 10 dragons, especially not against the wide variety of Flights Skag has hired, so he was forced to listen to Skag as he explained the situation.
Skag baited Zero so that his packmates could capture his family, along with his best friends, for safe measure. So, the deal was simple, if not cliche. Serve Skag, and your loved ones live. Zero had no choice, so now he serves under Skag with immense, bitter hatred for the Mirror. However, Skag made good on his word, permitting Zero's close ones can visit him, both as proof Scourge didn't lie to Zero, and as a safety measure to make sure Zero doesn't try anything funny too soon. As another measure, Skag informed Zero's close ones that if they tell anyone about Zero's capture, Zero will be eliminated.
Despite his allowance to have is loved ones see Zero, Skag is determined to break him. He knows of Zero's potential, and he recognizes his willpower, trying to defy Scourge at every opportunity. To Skag, in order to make Zero one of his most useful assets, he requires obedience. Resistance will be met with punishment. Scourge will not tolerate rebellion.
