Gladier arrived in the Clan full grown, a heavily furred Tundra. His shy and gentle ways make him a favourite playmate for the Clan's hatchlings, whom he loves greatly. Gladier is a lover, not a fighter, though he occasionally takes to the battlefield to instruct the younger dragons in the ways of magic, he'd rather be telling tales or making up new games for his little charges to play. "Catch the Whisker" and "Tail Slide" are perennial favourites. His official role in the clan is that of nest manager and Keeper of the 'Fluff Pile' - scribing records of the many Tundra pairings and who belongs on which nest at what time of year.

Though Gladier would never complain, he was more than happy to shed his heavy fur coat in exchange for the sleek form of a Pearlcatcher. He's a skilled painter, and often does the body art for other clanmates if they ask nicely. Gladier's biggest regret is accepting Nyx's offer to share a nest for his first breeding, a choice he nearly paid for with his life. The Pearlcatcher remains self-concious about the lasting scars on his hide and covers them with detailed brushwork. He avoids Nyx at all costs even though years have since passed and both of them have grown up since their singular unfortunate tryst.
