Darlin

Darlin was brought into the clan just before they moved to Dragonhome, as a cartographer of the region. Adopted by Yin, it didn't take Darlin long to become content in his clan and family. Keeping his job as the clan's head cartographer well after the move and settling period ended, Darlin works as part of the clan's council, advising Harbringer and Banana in how to best lead the clan. Sometime after they settled, the clan encountered a bandit group of harpies and obelisks; robbing the trains and carvans that ran through the region, but also taking personal insult to the clan with it's many obelisks- content to "just be helpers". Darlin defended his home; they weren't just using the obelisks or taking advantage of their eager nature. After all, they had moved to the region by the advice of an obelisk.

Working alongside the scouts of his clan, Darlin remained closely involved in the affairs of the Stone Bandits, trying to keep an eye on them- a task made harder by the fact that they moved their camps frequently. In his work, he ended up catching the eye of Perua, one of the raiders of the bandits, and the two started meeting in private; during the hottest hours of the day and the coldest hours of the night. She revealed about her past, about how the bandits had found her cast out with an injured wing and took her in, about how she owed them a great deal, and their meetings turned from friendship to more, though neither were brave enough to ask each other what they meant to each other even as a clutch of eggs happened. During a meeting close to when the eggs were due to hatch, Darlin was asked to take care of the eggs, their mother wanting a better life for any children.

Upon the hatching of a second nest, his relationship with Perua was discovered by both his clan and the bandits- though the pair managed to convince the clan to not only welcome Cata, the hatchling, but her mother as well as the bandits removed her from their ranks in rage. Since then, he's had to try to defend Perua from further judgement, and tried to shield his daughter from the same treatment- though to little success by those who refused to give the former bandit a chance.
