Aura is a prideful, willful, stubborn creature that fled from her previous clan and an arranged betrothal to what she calls an "arrogant, slovenly scaleback". And indeed, a creature bad enough to be called arrogant by the queen of arrogance herself must be a fearsome beast. This pride probably stems from not just her breed, but also because as the daughter of two leaders of a very large wind clan, she used to be regarded as something akin to royalty. This may also explain her vanity and the long hours she spends preening.

She may have a lot of attitude, but she can also be very industrious and even dependable when she chooses, which is why she was allowed to join. She may be a bit of a brat, but if needed is able to get "down and dirty", though she can rarely be convinced to do so. And in the defense of a close friend, she has shown herself to be incredibly loyal.
