Biography
Aconite 
Aconite is one of the hatchlings from Hemlock's first nest, a nest regarded with excitement by much of the clan. When she comes out slimy, many of the clan's dragons are concerned for her overall structural integrity. Hemlock, however, takes it in stride, insisting that there is nothing wrong with his hatchlings that he cannot fix. This proves more or less true. Aconite leaves an oily trace on everything she touches, but she doesn't have any mobility issues. After a few mishaps in the clan's library, she begins wearing gloves.
It is in that library that she discovers the world. Reading Stella's field manuals, and adventure stories from far and wide, her eyes are opened to a world she's never seen- but desperately wants to. Hoping that it is the beginning of an exciting journey, Aconite sets out into the world only after receiving her father's Blessing. Little does she know, the power bestowed upon her comes with a terrible price.
After leaving her birth-lair and flying southeast, Aconite finds herself on a large island dominated by a multitude of clans. For a time, she wonders which clan she should join, though two of these clans call out to her in particular; the Light-Forged, easily the most powerful of the clans inhabiting the island, and Clan Avalon, made up mostly of members from her birth-clan. Shared between those two clans, is a dragon who helped inspire her through one of his books to see the world, Kordin. In those clans as well she finds two dragons she is absolutely enamored with, Alexander and Aegon, but which one to choose…
Eventually, she chooses Alexander and the Light-Forged. The price of her power finally comes into play as she explores the castle lair the Light-Forged have built for themselves and speaks with the various members of the faction. Her father can see all that she sees through the peacock spots on her body, and hear everything she hears as well, she can also hear his voice in her mind. Though Hemlock always seems to go silent at the sight of Saiph, who she frequently meets with in the library.
Aconite quickly takes to following Alexander around, learning from him, and assisting him where he needs it. He begins training her in combat after noticing her watching him.
As soon as she is an adult dragon, Aconite shyly confesses to Alexander that she has a crush on him. Expecting to be rejected due to her appearance, Aconite is shocked when Alexander asks if she would like to be his mate.
