Biography
My name is Ice, and I've been the local trash collector in our quaint snowy village for as long as I can remember. It might not be the most glamorous job, but it's an essential one, especially when you live in a place like this. Our little village is tucked away in the heart of a snow-covered valley, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a place where everyone knows everyone else, and we all rely on each other to make it through the harsh winters.
I was born and raised here, and my family has been a part of this village for generations. My grandfather, a sturdy man with hands as tough as leather, was the first in our family to take up the job of trash collector. He used to tell me stories of how he'd trudge through the snowbanks with a sled, collecting the waste from each house and disposing of it properly.
When he grew older and could no longer manage the physically demanding job, my father took over. I spent my childhood watching him, learning the ropes of the trade. He was a kind and patient teacher, always emphasizing the importance of keeping our village clean and safe. He'd often say, "Ice, a village's character is reflected in its cleanliness. We may be small, but we can be the cleanest and coziest village in all the land."
As I grew older, I knew I wanted to continue the family tradition. So, I embraced the role of the village trash collector, and it's been my job ever since. Every morning, I bundle up in layers of warm clothing, and I load up my sled with empty trash bins and set off on my daily rounds, even when the snowfall is heavy enough to bury a house.
The villagers here are a close-knit bunch, and they appreciate the work I do. They leave out their trash bins early in the morning, often accompanied by a warm cup of hot cocoa or a plate of freshly baked cookies. It's these little acts of kindness that keep me going, even on the coldest and snowiest days.
During my rounds, I get to see the village wake up. I watch as the children build snowmen, the smoke curling from chimneys as families prepare breakfast, and the shop owners opening their doors. It's a simple life, but it's a good one.
Over the years, I've become more than just the trash collector; I've become a part of the village's fabric. I've watched families grow, children turn into adults, and new generations taking up the torch of tradition. I may not have a grand title or a fancy job, but I'm proud of what I do.
In this quaint snowy village, I am Ice, the trash collector, and I wouldn't have it any other way. My family's legacy lives on, and I find joy in the simple act of keeping our village clean, just as my grandfather and father did before me.
