When Starsong hatched, she was mainly raised by her mother Goodluck. She was curious about nature in many ways, and asked many questions to her father about the moon and stars. She learned that she had dream and night based magic when one day she managed to contain a dream inside her pearl. One fateful day she let go of her pearl on accident, and it rolled into a nearby river. She dove in after it, and got lost. She saved her pearl, but ended up in an entirely different clan! As the clan takes her in, she meets a sky dancer with a paralyzed back leg, Toughfluff. They bond and become friends, eventually becoming mates as adults. After convincing from her mate, she helped him travel and collect things with strong elemental magic. When they returned to the clan and they used alchemy to put all the trinkets together, they ended up creating an entirely new creature, a shapeshifter that they called their daughter. Starsong now helps her clanmates interpret their dreams, and relieve them of their nightmares.
