Mantis - The Fighter
Mantis's whole world consists of her best friend Lark, and her fighting. Since the day she hatched, she has never spent a day away from Lark, and she will go out of her way to help her, no matter what the cost.
She loves hunting with Lark, as she was the one who taught her to stalk, and take down pray. Mantis is rather clumsy sometimes and even though she can (sort of) hold her own, she is nowhere near as good as her best friend. Mantis has a talent in fighting, and with a low pain threshold and large size, she often comes out the top.
Mantis doesn't really care much for most people, and it is for this reason that she is rarely seen speaking to anyone else. Despite her size, Mantis's voice extremely quiet, especially when others are in the room. She loves to cuddle up to Lark at night, as she is like a security blanket for her. When she does, the two dragons coil around one another and will remain together silently. Mantis is aware of her best friends fear of other people. She will stare predatorily and give of a low warning rumble at anyone who seems to be bothering her.
Mantis is an avid preener, and will keep her scales and talons scrupulously neat and clean at all times.
