Raised in nightmares, nurtured in hate--he shouldn't have cared one way or another whether Lunnox lived or breathed, but something about her was different than anything he'd ever known. He was a thing of darkness and she was spun starlight, hope, determination.

Erembour courted her from the shadows, with every intention of being the assassin Eidolon had sent him to be, but in the end he was simply The Betrayer. The one who gained a heart where he had once had none.

The dark has never scared him, he was made for it. Nightmares were something he courted in his sleep even as a young hatchling, altering them, playing with them...the dream world was as much his reality as the waking. He could wield them as easily as one could breathe, and now they are a weapon he uses...not against Leylight, but for it.

He was meant to be the Imposter Queen's blade, the one who gave her her throne fully and finally, and now he is wraith who stands in her way.

Unlike most here in Leylight, Erembour has no interest in learning the art of spirit shifting. He has no need. He already walks the line between life and death in the dream world. The moment he slips into a nightmare the dragon vanishes and his true self emerges, a wraith hound--nothing bone and sinew, wisp and spirit. It is in that form, nothing more than a creature of death and darkness, that he hunts his prey.

His chilling howl is often the last thing one hears in their dreams.

Notes to self to build bio/and add into the lore: Hatched deep within the Tangled Wood. He was found and raised by Eidolon, and one of her strengths as a shadow mage is dreams. She taught him how to use the shadows of sleep and the dark of night to slip into the dreams of others, how to rend tales of horror and nightmares into their sleep. She taught him how to hunt through their dreams. He was supposed to find and kill Lunnox. And every other descendent of Nocturne.
